This fishing knife from Helle is one heck of a fishing knife! It has a cork handle, which makes the knife extremely light and comfortable to hold: but more importantly, this knife floats! I can remember when I was about 17 years old and I was fishing on the pier in Santa Cruz, California. I was using a really cool brand-new diving knife as a fishing knife, but my knife did not float. After using the knife for an hour or two of cutting bait and stuff, I knocked my precious new dive knife off the rail of the pier and it fell into the ocean and sunk to the bottom! It sucked! If I had a floating knife like this, I could have at least gone in to the ocean after it and retrieved the knife. Lets face it: when you are fishing, there is a good chance your trusty knife will end up in the water at some point. Better to have a floating knife! And this knife is an excellent one. It is handmade in Norway by one of the finest knife makers in the world!
