Check out this shot taken by yours truly yesterday at a beautiful winery in Paso Robles, California. I took the photo on my iPhone, so it isn’t real high-quality, but still very nice. This shot was taken in the covered outdoor picnic area at Windward Vineyard in Paso Robles. This winery specializes in Pinot Noir, which isn’t my favorite varietal – but it was an interesting winery to check out nonetheless. Too bad I forgot to bring one of these cool wine totes along on the trip. A wine tote or 2 would have come in handy for all the wine we toted out of some of those wineries! Leaving wine in a hot car is very bad! It will destroy your wine! A 6 bottle wine carrier like this is a good idea for keeping valuable wine cool in your car on hot day. We made do with a last-minute styrofoam cooler purchase. It was a VERY hot day in Paso Robles, probably pushing 104-105 degrees, so taking a little break in this shaded patio for a photo felt nice.
Also, if you are looking for some great wineries to check out in the Paso Robles area, I can highly recommend the following as some of my favorites:
