We have visited Macau, a city in Southern China just opposite the shores of Hong Kong, for a weekend retreat. To our surprise, we found many lotuses exhibited in the flower show near a lake in Cotai Strip.

There were many types of lotuses but as we were ignorant about flowers, we only absorbed the beauty of their full blossom. Luckily, I had the Tamron 60mm Macro lens with me, and as a macro lens it is pretty sharp and the quality of the out-of-focus highlights were pleasing, contributing to a better photo quality.
